Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade mapping application that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

You can even design character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.

Charitable Component

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
